So a huge update that we’ve been putting off but we know when we started sharing Gunners Journey we may not always have good news.
At Gunners recent review we were told that his donor levels continue to drop. We have now reached a point where his transplant is starting to fail. We have been told to prepare ourselves to take him back in and prepare for the full transplant process to start again.
Gunners brain is currently ok with the small amount of enzymes being produced but as predicted when full failure happens we are back at square one.
So we are now in desperate search of a bone marrow donor once again.
This has been hard news to come to terms with and one that hasn’t fully sank in but we are trying to make the most of everyday and enjoy our boy until we get the dreaded phone call.
